Pack Like A Pop Star – Travel ‘Must-Haves’ I Discovered While Writing My Popular Young Adult Book Series

I know traveling seems like a crazy idea these days as we come out of the pandemic, but before we know it we’ll all be back to vacationing like the old days. In the second book in my popular young adult book series THE RISE AND FALL OF DANI TRUEHART, the main character Dani Truehart sets off on a world concert tour. Planning all her tour stops got me itching to travel again! Here are a few travel essentials I discovered for my pop star character while writing my book:

A cute beanie is a lifesaver after a long flight. Jetlagged and bedhead are no way to greet the press. A slouchy beanie is a great way to looks effortlessly chic and it takes up next to no room in your bag.

Oversized Sunglasses aren’t just for lounging by the pool. Had a late night at the club or a fight with your boyfriend? Throw on a pair of Chanel Square Sunglasses and puffy, red eyes disappear behind a façade of glamour. Plus they save you from having to do your make-up in that tiny airplane bathroom!

The Longchamp’s Boxford Travel Bag is handy for catching all your small travel essentials – hand lotion, water bottle, books, etc. This understated luxury duffle can be comfortably  slung over your shoulder, making running down the jetway a breeze. It also folds up easily so it can fit inside another bag, so you can safely stow all those souvenirs you pick up along on the road.

A Naadam Cashmere Turtleneck is perfect for those chilly flights, air conditioned hotels or late night walks along the Seine. Soft as a lamb and light as a feather, this sweater will keep you warm in style.

If your prone to blemishes, erase them in flight with iS Clinical Active Serum. Add a little glow to your face and zap those zits by swiping on a few drops of this miracle solution before landing. You’ll have all the paparazzi wondering how you look so well-rested and dewy after your long flight.

Finally, don’t get caught roaming the plane in your socks! Slip on a pair of OluKai Nohea shearling slippers and keep those tootles warm while staying stylish.

So much more to share, but this will do for now. Even if we can jet set like a pop star, we can at least look like one in the comfort of our own home.

Happy Tuesday!💕
