Today I’m taking a day off from blogging. It is our son’s tenth birthday and we’re out celebrating his first day as a double-digit kid!
Being a mom is the best thing that has happened to me, next to meeting my husband. It was a long struggle for us to become parents and while we both wish we would have been blessed with more children, I don’t spend my days crying over what I don’t have. Our son was a miracle baby in every sense of the word so we spend our days enjoying our time with him as much as we can.
So I hope you have a wonderful summer Tuesday. Treat yourself to a fancy coffee or a cookie and celebrate with us today. Life is filled with so many wonderful blessings. Even if life doesn’t work out the way you dreamed, there is so much to be grateful for. We might only have been blessed with one child but he is the best kid could have asked for.
